Daisen Autumn Nature Observation Walk

About this event

Participants will stroll around the Daisenji Temple area while an accompanying specialized guide provides explanations on topography, geology, plants, animals (wild birds and insects), history, and humanities based on the principles of nature conservation. The observation walks are held every Sunday, starting from the Daisen Nature and History Museum and following either the Amida-do to Daisenji Temple approach route or the Jakujozan to Daisenji Temple route. Participation is free, and no advance reservation is required except for groups. Please wear mountain-walking-appropriate attire such as comfortable walking shoes, long sleeves, and long pants. The event will proceed in light rain.
