The 4th Daisen Medaka Marche Autumn Exhibition and Sale

This is one of the San'in region's premier events for medaka (Japanese rice fish) enthusiasts, held at a special venue in the parking lot of 'Tottori Hanakairo,' one of Japan's largest flower parks overlooking magnificent Mount Daisen. Up-and-coming medaka breeders gathered from within and outside Tottori Prefecture will hold an exhibition and sale of brightly colored, latest improved medaka varieties raised with great care. In addition to direct sales of breeders' carefully selected individuals and uniquely popular varieties such as glitter types, external light types, long fins, and daruma types, a 'medaka scooping' activity will be held for children and adults to enjoy. Furthermore, a breeding consultation corner is provided where you can receive practical, expert advice on winter preparations and tips on changing water from autumn to winter. Alongside the event, visitors can fully enjoy the park's expansive gardens, observation corridor, and the Autumn Flower Festival, making it an ideal event for autumn leisure and a drive around Mount Daisen.
