The season for local specialty Pione and Shine Muscat grapes arrives in Asahi-cho, Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture. JA Shimane Iwami Chuo will hold a special sale of Pione and Shine Muscat grapes (available until sold out). In addition, there will be a fun lottery with lavish prizes and an all-you-can-stuff Pione grape bag challenge for customers who purchase Pione grapes. Iwami Kagura performances will also be held, allowing visitors to enjoy traditional local performing arts alongside autumn flavors. A direct grape sales booth will also open from Monday, August 24, 2026, to Friday, September 25, 2026 (excluding Tuesdays and Saturdays), operating from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM (or until sold out). On the day of the event, activities will begin at 8:30 AM and are expected to conclude roughly by noon. The venue is the JA Shimane Iwami Chuo Agricultural Products General Gathering and Shipping Facility.
