About this event
The "9th All-Amago Clan National Gathering Sengoku Amago Festival Pre-Event" held in Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture, is an event designed to promote Gassantoda Castle, which flourished under the Sengoku daimyo Amago clan, and to foster tourism and community revitalization. In order to build momentum toward the main festival, it is being held in the interim year of Reiwa 8 (2026). During the event, an epic warrior procession will take place, featuring armored warriors of all ages from children to adults and the Ten Brave Warriors of Amago, marching from Gassantoda Castle to the special stage on the left bank of the Iinashi River. In addition, starting with an opening ceremony, a variety of stage events will unfold, including performances by the Yasugi High School Brass Band, Amago Taiko, Neo Yasugibushi, and Hakuta Taiko. At the venue, the Sengoku Specialty Market will also be held, featuring local food specialties and handmade goods to entertain visitors.
