Lake Sakura Orochi Circuit Walking Event

About this event

This is a walking event held around Lake Sakura Orochi in Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture. In this area where the legend of the slaying of the giant serpent lives on, you can walk leisurely along the lakeside while enjoying the beautiful autumn scenery. A fun raffle is also prepared for event participants, allowing them to fully enjoy nature while touring the land of the Yamata no Orochi legend. The course spans 5.6 km around Lake Sakura Orochi. The start and goal point is the Shimane Prefectural Lake Sakura Orochi Cycling Facility. For advance registration, the fee is 800 yen for adults (junior high school students and above), 300 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschool children. For same-day registration, it is 1,200 yen for adults (junior high school students and above), 400 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschool children. The deadline for advance registration is Friday, October 9, 2026 (Reiwa 8).
