About this event
Held in Iinan Town, Shimane Prefecture, the "Minkiji Carnival" is an event featuring child-led vendor booths, a variety of workshops, and a diverse selection of food, drinks, and goods for sale. The children's booth area, where 3rd-year students from Akagi Junior High School offer sweets made from local specialty products, local cuisine, handmade crafts themed around regional specialties, and press-on nail crafting, serves as a platform to showcase the local charm. In the paid workshops, visitors can enjoy Gundam plastic model assembly and clay stamp art utilizing natural patterns. The food and drink area will host vendors including Giraffe Crepe, RAMEN SUN!, Morikara, Mikami Coffee, momodoors, Atelier Nne, COST ReSALE, Kuritora, Tochigi Shoten, and Maru, offering a rich variety of gourmet food and goods such as crepes, ramen, fried chicken karaage, caneles, chiffon cakes, bread, chestnut buns, baked goods, vegetables, and kuromoji spicebush products.
