Kawamoto Town Kagura Joint Performance Festival

Held every year in Kawamoto Town, this is the town's premier Kagura event. Many Kagura troupes participate from outside the prefecture, including Hiroshima, allowing visitors to witness wonderful joint performances by around 10 troupes every year. It is so popular that long lines form even before the venue opens, making it a luxurious tournament where attendees can thoroughly enjoy powerful Kagura dances by popular troupes invited from both inside and outside the town. It is a precious opportunity to fully experience the tradition and charm of Kagura.
