The "49th In-Yo Kagura Competition," held in Onan Town, Shimane Prefecture, is a festival of traditional performing arts where powerful dances by diverse kagura troupes are performed on the stage of the Onan Town Health Center Genkikan. It offers an opportunity to fully enjoy the charm of In-Yo Kagura deeply rooted in the region. At the venue, two types of seating are prepared: tiered staircase-style seating facing the front of the stage, and flat horizontal seating close to the stage, allowing spectators to experience different sensations of presence in each seat. Advance tickets are 3,000 yen (tax included) for adults, same-day tickets are 3,500 yen (tax included), and elementary school students and younger are free. Video recording tickets can be purchased for 2,000 yen (tax included) per camera, but posting recorded videos to YouTube or social media is strictly prohibited. Food and beverage booths are scheduled to be set up outside the venue, but eating and drinking inside the venue are prohibited except for hydration. Doors open at 9:45 and the performance starts at 10:30, with numbered admission tickets distributed from 9:00 AM.
