The 'Autumn Harvest Festival' held in Yoshika Town, Shimane Prefecture is an event celebrating the bounties of autumn. Centered around the direct-sales market and souvenir shop Yakuro, freshly harvested local agricultural products and special items gather here. The Oidani Terraced Rice Fields Festival is held around the same time, allowing visitors to enjoy the tastes of autumn alongside the beautiful terraced rice field scenery. The Red Soba Flower Viewing Party is also held, where you can view buckwheat flowers in an autumn-like landscape. Coinciding with the autumn foliage season, visitors can also enjoy beautiful autumn leaves at Nagase Gorge and Momijidani Valley.
