Okayama Castle Autumn Ujo Togenkyo

About this event

Okayama Castle, also known as "Kin'ujo" (Golden Crow Castle), will be illuminated in autumn colors. You can spend an autumn night in an elegant atmosphere woven by the towering castle tower and the autumn foliage highlighted by the lights. This event is held concurrently with "Genso Teien" (Fantasy Garden) at Okayama Korakuen. During the event period, the grounds are open at night, allowing visitors to enjoy the magical scenery. Opening hours are from 17:00 to 20:30, with admission to the castle tower until 20:00. The castle admission fee is 500 yen for adults (high school students and older) and free for elementary and junior high school students. For access by public transportation, take the streetcar (bound for Higashiyama) from JR Okayama Station, get off at "Shiroshita" and walk about 10 minutes, or take a bus, get off at "Korakuen-mae" and walk about 5 minutes. There is no dedicated parking lot, but you can use the Ujo Park Parking Lot.
