This corner exhibition features picture scrolls depicting Nihonga (Japanese-style) painter Yoson Ikeda's travels to western Japan in an illustrated-diary format, alongside landscape paintings by literati painters associated with Kurashiki, such as Kozan Ishikawa and Gyokuson Yuzuki. Through Yoson Ikeda's travel records and the landscape paintings rendered by literati artists, this exhibition offers an opportunity to appreciate their perspective and literati atmosphere.
