45th Heartland Kurashiki 2026 Autumn

About this event

This is a limited-time event taking advantage of the Kurashiki River location and the white-walled townscape centered around the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. On autumn evenings, the entire venue is illuminated with gentle lighting and enveloped in a magical atmosphere. During the event, in addition to the regular nighttime landscape lighting that illuminates the townscape with warm light, paper lanterns are lined up along the Kurashiki River, and willow trees are beautifully lit up. Featuring wisteria decorations on sightseeing riverboats as well as illumination of paper lanterns and willow trees, visitors can enjoy the long autumn nights.
