The community exchange event 'Evening Marche at Joraku-in' will be held at Joraku-in Temple in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, born from the wish to 'make temples a more familiar and accessible place.' Titled 'Jizo-bon It Is! Everyone Gather', this year's event is packed with activities to enjoy together with pets. The first 50 visitors arriving with pets or presenting animal goods will receive a fun coupon. To accommodate those who are not comfortable around pets, consideration is given to create a considerate environment for everyone, such as separating dining areas. Cherishing the compassion and connections unique to a temple, this pet-friendly market features stalls selling pet treats and mobile pet cremation service providers. In addition, visitors can enjoy a bamboo lantern workshop accessible to both children and adults, food and drink stalls, various workshops, and a mini festival fair.
