About this event
The 'Fukiya Bengara Illumination' will be held, magically illuminating the townscape of 'Fukiya Furusato Village,' a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings unified by its Bengara red appearance. Along the town street lined with well over a hundred handmade lanterns, the Fukiya Kouta Dance Troupe will dance gracefully in Bengara-dyed yukata to the sounds of shamisen and shakuhachi. Please enjoy this autumn night tradition in Fukiya. Traffic regulations will be in place on the day, and a parking cooperation fee is required. The event will be canceled in case of rain.
