At Pione Koryukan in Toyonaga-Akaba, Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture, the annual grape picking event is held. The event period for 2026 is from September 27 (Sun) to October 16 (Fri). On the opening day, September 27 (Sun), food stalls serving yakisoba and yakitori will also open, promising a lively atmosphere. During the grape picking period, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of cultivars including Pione, Aki Queen, Aurora Black, Seto Giants, Shine Muscat, Queen Nina, and Sunny Dolce. Admission is free, but eating and drinking inside the vineyard is not permitted. The harvested grapes are sold by weight, with Pione priced at 1,500 yen/kg and Shine Muscat at 2,000 yen/kg (prices subject to change depending on market conditions). Please note that reservations are required for all days except September 27 (Sun). Operating hours are 9:00 to 15:00. Arriving early is recommended as the event ends as soon as the grapes run out.
