About this event

"2026 Sports & Recreation Festa Akaiwa" is an event designed to let people experience various sports and recreational activities and discover the joy of moving their bodies. A wide range of activities has been planned so that everyone from small children to seniors can enjoy themselves. Fun programs have been prepared in cooperation with the Akaiwa City Sports Association, Junior Sports Clubs, and sports promotion committee members. Inside the gymnasium, you can get a simple health check, try sports like table tennis and volleyball that beginners can also enjoy, and experience new sports such as yoga, body balance, and pickleball. In the multipurpose open space, recreation open to all, as well as hockey and petanque experiences, will be offered. A stamp rally where you can collect stamps while participating to win prizes will also be held. Food trucks and other stalls will be present as well.
