Hatogahara Night Insect Observation Event

A night insect observation event will be held at Hatogahara in Hiruzen, Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture. In a nighttime grassland with little artificial light around, it is a thrilling and exciting observation event searching for nocturnal creatures that gather toward light. In this event, you can observe the ecology of nocturnal insects that cannot usually be seen. Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian, and junior high and high school students require transportation to and from the meeting place by a guardian. The participation fee is 100 yen (including insurance). Why not take this opportunity to experience the mysteries of nature at night?
