FORESTRAIL HIRUZEN-SHINJO 2026 supported by GREENable

About this event

Set in Shinjo Village and the Hiruzen area of Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, the trail running competition "FORESTRAIL HIRUZEN-SHINJO 2026 supported by GREENable" will be held, allowing participants to fully enjoy rich nature while engaging with the local community. Originally established as one of the longest trail running races in Western Japan, FORESTRAIL has been reimagined as an event that brings innovation to trail running. Set amid magnificent nature, it aims to create a future where "the more participants there are, the richer the local nature becomes." Three courses are offered to match different skill levels: Long Course (65 km, cumulative elevation gain 2,720 m, 14-hour time limit), Middle Course (37 km, cumulative elevation gain 1,250 m, 10-hour time limit), and Short Course (16 km, cumulative elevation gain 460 m, 5-hour time limit). Official time measurement is provided, and participation prizes will be prepared.
