Held at Yunogo Onsen in Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, 'Mimasaka Bamboo Light 2026 in Yunogo Onsen' is an enchanting light event woven from bamboo lanterns, organized by the Mimasaka Society of Commerce and Industry Youth Division. Visitors can enjoy a world of warm and gentle light created by bamboo lanterns of various designs. In addition, a bamboo lantern workshop will be held ahead of the event at the 'Yunogo Marche'. Participants can drill holes in bamboo to create their own original bamboo lanterns, and the completed works will be installed at the event venue to become part of the illuminated scenery. Joining together with family or friends offers the opportunity to enjoy both the bamboo lantern-making experience and the enchanting lighted space, creating special memories.
