About this event
Set in the rich forests of Nishiawakura Village, Okayama Prefecture, 'Shinshin Sansan 2026' is a festival of expression that rethinks the relationship between nature and people. In this event, exhibitions of artworks and research findings, as well as talk events, will be held, allowing visitors to touch upon the invisible world of the forest. In particular, at the opening festival held from Saturday, October 10 to Sunday, October 11, opening performances, artist presence, various workshops, and food, drink, and merchandise booths are scheduled, providing an opportunity to reweave new relationships with the land, culture, and nature through diverse experiences in the forest. Participants shift their awareness from 'viewers' to 'expressers', sensing the forest's presence and expressing it, aiming to create new connections between people and nature, and between people and people. The venue is inside the forest of Ogo, Nishiawakura Village, Okayama Prefecture, with free shuttle bus service provided from Awakura Onsen Station or Awakura Kaikan Parking Lot. Direct entry to the venue by private car is not permitted. The exhibition period is from Saturday, October 10 to Sunday, November 8, 2026.
