About this event
The '2026 Daiwa Genki Festival,' held in Daiwa-cho, Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, features stage performances by local students such as Japanese taiko drumming, brass band music, and chorus singing, as well as dances, musical performances, and kagura shows by local organizations. Visitors can also enjoy delicious food sold by stalls mainly run by local groups, and exhibitions of works created by local residents, including paintings, crafts, and calligraphy. Scheduled attractions include free tasting samples of the 'Daiwa Marugoto Nabe' hot pot, a health corner, vehicle displays by the police, fire department, and Self-Defense Forces, and a bouncy dome. As a highlight of this edition, a grand raffle requiring no prior application will also be held. Details of the event will be shared sequentially on the Instagram account 'daiwadaiwadaiwa'.
