About this event
This tea ceremony is held to familiarize more people with Fukuju Kaikan (a Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property). On the day of the event, a formal tea gathering (honseki) hosted by the Urasenke Tankokai Fukuyama Chapter will be prepared. You can enjoy a calming bowl of tea in a beautiful Japanese-style hall. The fee is 700 yen for a tea ticket, with no advance reservation required and walk-ins accepted throughout the day. Reception hours are from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and the event runs from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
