Setouchi Factory View 2026

About this event

The open factory event "Setouchi Factory View 2026," bringing together manufacturing companies from Hiroshima and Okayama Prefectures, will be held. A total of 48 companies from the Bingo area (Fukuyama City, Fuchu City, Shobara City, Kasaoka City, etc.) and the Aki area (Hatsukaichi City, Kitahiroshima Town, Hiroshima City, Kumano Town, Etajima City, Higashihiroshima City, Miyoshi City, etc.) will participate, opening manufacturing sites across a wide range of industries to the public, including woodworking, metal, textiles, brewing, brushes, Buddhist altars, shoes, and signboards. Each company will offer diverse content leveraging their strengths, such as factory tours, hands-on craft workshops, product exhibitions, and talk sessions. Many long-established companies founded over 100 years ago will also participate, providing an opportunity to experience the region's rich history and culture of manufacturing firsthand. The theme for 2026 is "Every," aiming to make the region a production hub where "people visit, connect, and engage" 365 days a year through monthly regular learning sessions, internships, and year-round industrial tourism, not just on the event day. The brand visuals have also been renewed, featuring patterns that symbolize manufacturing across the Setouchi region under the concept of "Bringing manufacturing landscapes into everyday life."
