World-Touring Wadaiko Group "Yamato" Japan Tour 2026 in Hiroshima/Miyoshi Based in Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture, the world-touring Japanese drum group "Yamato" has given over 4,800 performances across 55 countries worldwide since its formation in 1993, captivating more than 10 million people in total. A powerful stage woven together by various large and small Japanese drums, led by a giant drum measuring approximately 2 meters in diameter and weighing over 500 kilograms. The overwhelming rhythm and delicate expression born from rigorously trained physical bodies are truly "physical music." Intensity, melancholy, tranquility, and dynamism—Yamato's stage is not an experience of "listening" to sound, but of "feeling with the whole body." Awakening the audience's inner passion and heartbeat energy, they create moments together where one truly feels "I am alive!"
