About this event
The "30th Koi Koi Festival in Otake," held in Otake City, Hiroshima Prefecture, is a great opportunity for local residents to gather and deepen interactions. It will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026 (Reiwa 8) around the General Civic Hall and the Otake Fire Station. On the day, there will be plenty of programs for both adults and children to enjoy, including a filleting show and free tasting (limited quantity) using fresh locally caught yellowtail (hamachi), and "Nikoniko Janken" (rock-paper-scissors) where winners receive a 100-yen coupon usable inside the venue. Furthermore, the General Gymnasium will feature various stage events, a flea market, and awareness/exhibition booths, while the outdoor area will bustle with food, drink, and merchandise bazaars. Around the fire station, a Firefighting Fair will be held during the morning only, making it a day to experience the charm and vitality of the local area. For access to the venue, temporary parking is available at Otake Junior High School, from which shuttle buses run to the venue. By public transportation, taking the Koi Koi Bus and getting off at "Sogo Shimin Kaikan" (General Civic Hall) is convenient.
