4th Lake Shakunage Summer Evening Fireworks Festival

Held in Fukutomi-cho, Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, the '4th Lake Shakunage Summer Evening Fireworks Festival' is a summer tradition that colors the shores of Lake Shakunage. With the main venue at Roadside Station Kohan no Sato Fukutomi - Fureai Plaza, visitors can fully feel the sound and power of the fireworks because the launch site is close to the venue. Approximately 2,000 fireworks will bloom in the night sky, making it an ideal event for creating summer memories. A Summer Evening Festival will also be held concurrently, allowing you to enjoy a summer moment with family and friends. Paid spectator seating is set up so you can experience the power of the fireworks up close, and free hidden gem viewing spots such as the Roadside Station parking lot and the area around Fukutomi Dam are also introduced. In particular, near the Fukutomi Dam Management Office is popular as a spot to photograph the Shakunage Grand Bridge together with the fireworks. As traffic restrictions and congestion are expected on the day, arriving with plenty of time is recommended.
