Hatsukaichi Eco Festa 2026

Hatsukaichi City is working toward realizing carbon neutrality by 2050 through environmental conservation efforts across 'All Hatsukaichi'. As part of these efforts, 'Hatsukaichi Eco Festa 2026' is held with the aim of deepening citizens' and businesses' interest in and understanding of environmental conservation, including carbon neutrality, and raising awareness of environmental issues. At the venue, booths and workshops by companies and organizations to learn about environmental conservation initiatives, as well as food trucks, are scheduled. In addition, an eco-car exhibition, a 'Kids Manager ecoeco Flea Market', an award ceremony for the environmental awareness poster and slogan contest, lectures on the environment, stage performances by comedians, an environmental-themed hero show, and a fun lottery draw are planned. It is a participatory, hands-on event where people can learn about the environment while having fun and experience eco-friendly ways of living. Through this festa, it is hoped that the circle of community-wide environmental conservation efforts will expand, serving as a catalyst toward achieving a zero-carbon city.
