31st Yamaguchi Ube Airport "Sky Day" Commemorative Festival

In commemoration of "Sky Day" on September 20 and to help prefectural residents become more familiar with airports and aircraft, Yamaguchi Ube Airport will hold the 31st Yamaguchi Ube Airport "Sky Day" Commemorative Festival. On the day of the event, advance-registration-required Hands-on Events A will be conducted, including aircraft photo sessions for ANA, JAL, and SFJ; HondaJet aircraft test flights; airport fire brigade trial enlistment; fire and disaster prevention helicopter aircraft tours; and control tower/weather facility tours. In addition, numerous Hands-on Events B will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day, such as JAL KIDS STUDIO & PARK, the ANA Sparkling Kids Uniform Photo Session, and the SFJ Kids Uniform Fitting Event. Other scheduled activities include an exhibition and rescue demonstration drill with the fire and disaster prevention helicopter "Kirara," foreign cultural experiences, a 7-city and town stamp rally, a human rights exchange plaza, a lucky draw raffle, the Ube/Mine Region Suteki Joshi Marche, an Ikuno Hirano violin concert, a live performance by singer NAZUKI & pianist Masako Ueda & cajon player MAD Shin, glass-craft experiences, a StarFlyer shop, and a tasting event for in-flight service "Tully's Coffee," offering a festival packed with colorful programs to enjoy the airport's charm all day long.
