About this event

The Showa era, which began about 100 years ago on December 25, 1926, was a period of rapid and dramatic change for Japanese society over 64 years, including war and rapid economic growth. These societal changes had a major impact on daily life and tourism in Hagi as well. In this exhibition, while tracing the era's changes experienced by Hagi, visitors are guided into "Showa-era Hagi." It is a special exhibition where visitors can look back on Hagi at that time through photographs and documents, and experience a nostalgic retro atmosphere.
