Marking 81 years since the atomic bombings, an A-bomb survivor lecture by Masahiro Sasaki, elder brother of Sadako Sasaki who was the model for the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and the first-ever A-bomb piano concert in Iwakuni City will be held. Touching upon Sadako Sasaki's hopes, the beautiful tones of the A-bomb piano will resonate with the preciousness of peace. This event is a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of peace through the sound of the A-bomb piano. In the lecture, attendees can hear the firsthand voices of an A-bomb survivor. In the concert, listeners can hear the melodies played by the A-bomb piano and offer prayers for peace. Anyone can participate for free, with no application required. Using the Nishikigawa Seiryu Line is convenient for reaching the venue.
