About this event
As the largest event in Yuu Town, Iwakuni City, the "YOU Yu Festa" features stage performances including music by nursery school children, brass band music by junior high school students, Kasazuka Kagura, and Zenitsubo Taiko drumming. Various events such as a kuruma prawn catching competition will also be held, alongside sales of Yuu Town's local mountain and marine specialties and various bazaars. At the end of the festa, fireworks launched from the sea will conclude the festival, and a traditional rice-cake toss (mochimaki) will also take place this year. Deepening community bonds, this event is cherished across generations as an "autumn tradition of Yuu Town." N.S. Service Co., Ltd. will also set up booths offering games and sweets to help energize the event.
