The free-admission music festival "Kassei no Hi '26" held in Tomakomai City, Hokkaido, is a passionate two-day event coloring the entire city with music. It will be held on both August 29 and 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This year, some venues have been renewed, and five stages will be set up across two areas in the central city district. The venues are Tomakomai Civic Cultural Hall (3 stages) and ELLCUBE / Akasia Park (2 stages). Dozens of major and indie bands will perform, making it an irresistible event for music lovers. Held annually since 2014 with the hope of revitalizing the city, this festival aims to bring energy to the local community.
