Tokuyama Zoo in Shunan City will hold 'Summer Night Opening' as a limited-time summer event. The zoo, which usually closes in the evening, will specially extend its opening hours until 9:00 PM during this period. It is a popular event where you can observe animals' active movements and nocturnal habits in the cooler evening-to-night hours, which differ from daytime. Strolling leisurely through the grounds in the quiet nighttime atmosphere, you can enjoy the special sights of animals rarely seen normally. It will be an ideal experience for creating summer memories, perfect for outings with children. This is an opportunity to observe the activities of nocturnal animals and Sri Lankan elephants. While some animals will not be on display, the operating hours of souvenir shops and food booths will also be extended, allowing you to fully enjoy the zoo on a summer night.
