About this event

Applications are open for participants in the 'Junior Monozukurer Lab' workshop, held as a regional revitalization project in collaboration between Tabuse Agricultural and Technical High School and Tabuse Town. 'Monozukurer' is an original Tabuse catchword used affectionately among imaginative people who love manufacturing and craftsmanship (monozukuri). At this event, participants can gain hands-on experience utilizing 3D printers and microcomputers. In the Monozukuri Course, participants sketch an original lantern cover using 3D modeling software, print it with a 3D printer, and equip it with an LED board they soldered themselves. In the Robot Course, participants create their own original automatic electric fan through soldering, recycled craftwork, and Python programming. It is a 2-day program, and participation on both days is required. The target audience is junior high school students living in the town, and observation by parents/guardians is permitted. The participation fee is 200 yen, including material costs and insurance.
