2026 Mount Oboshi Cycle Festa in Hirao

About this event

Celebrating its 12th edition this year, "2026 Mount Oboshi Cycle Festa in Hirao" is a hill climb race rushing up Mount Oboshi, which offers a panoramic view of the beautiful islands of the Seto Inland Sea. It is a full-fledged race in which corporate-sponsored league cyclists also participate, and the sense of accomplishment upon conquering the course with an elevation difference of 428m and an average slope of 5.1% is exceptional. After the race, as hospitality unique to Hirao Town, food truck stalls and a rice cake tossing (mochimaki) event are also planned, making it an event where visitors can fully enjoy not only the fun of cycling but also the charm of the region. Participation is divided into two categories: General Cyclist Individual Division (age 18 and under) and (age 19 and over). Entry is available via Sports Entry.
