The "ABU JAZZ FESTIVAL 2026," held in Abu Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a music event themed around Latin jazz and salsa. Funky Ritsuko Version, led by Ritsuko Endo—a leading jazz pianist in Japan's Latin jazz scene—will perform alongside special guest NORA SUZUKI of Orquesta De La Luz. Orquesta De La Luz is an acclaimed group with numerous achievements, including spending 11 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the US Latin Chart upon their US debut in 1990, an Academy Award nomination in the United States, and a Special Award at the Japan Record Awards. This collaboration is expected to deliver an electrifying stage performance fusing Latin rhythms with the passion of jazz. Tickets are limited to 500 reserved seats, and advance reservations are also being accepted. As tickets sold out for the previous event, early purchase is recommended.
