Touring Atsuma's Ainu Culture with a Museum Curator!

This is a historical exploration tour guided by a town curator, visiting sites associated with Ainu culture scattered from Hamaatsuma to the Horonai district. While listening to explanations from an expert, you can experience Atsuma Town's rich history and Ainu culture. Because the tour includes light hiking up to the Sakuragaoka Chashi Ruins, participating in comfortable clothes and walking shoes is recommended. Participants must bring their own lunch. Children of elementary school age and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Participation is free, but capacity is limited to the first 40 people.
