Nishi-Awa Fireworks is a fireworks competition held at Tokushima Western Health and Disaster Prevention Park in Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture. Unlike typical fireworks festivals, you can enjoy high-quality fireworks where pyrotechnicians compete in artistry and technique. It is an event where you can experience the new appeal of fireworks, including newly crafted rainbow-changing shakudama shells and music starmines spanning up to 330 meters synchronized with music down to 1/30th of a second. Over 20,000 fireworks will be launched, alongside a music festival and food, beverage, and merchandise stalls. Participating pyrotechnic companies include Alps Enka Kogyo, Horiuchi Enkaten, and Katakai Enka Kogyo. Paid viewing seats are available, and tickets are sold on the official website.
