Held in Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture, "Marugoto Festival – Creating is Living. - 2026" is the annual school festival organized by Kamiyama Marugoto College of Design and Technology. Across two days on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026, around 50 projects and programs will be carried out. This year's concept is "Go Beyond Creations," aiming to open up to society the students' ideas, products, demonstrations, and co-creations powered by technology and design. Projects originating from fields such as AI, robotics, and UI/UX design will be showcased through exhibitions, hands-on experiences, stage performances, product sales, and food and beverage booths. In the "Lab," where you can experience future everyday life, you can encounter concepts and technologies that have not yet become commonplace. Additionally, you can experience the learning at Kamiyama Marugoto Kosen through special trial classes that recreate actual lessons and exhibitions of student work. Furthermore, local eateries and general merchandise stores will set up booths, allowing visitors to enjoy Kamiyama's unique food, culture, and interactions with local residents. A crowdfunding campaign to support student challenges is also scheduled. Admission is free, but advance reservation via Peatix is required.
