Held in Naka Town, Tokushima Prefecture, the "6th Kawaguchi Dam Lake Black Bass Fishing Tournament & Naka River System Ayu Tasting" is an event where you can enjoy fishing while fully experiencing nature. In the black bass fishing tournament, anglers on boats lined up across the lake compete for their catch, with winners determined by the total weight of the fish and prizes prepared. It is recommended not only for fishing enthusiasts but also for families. On the same day as the tournament, a SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) experience will also be held where you can enjoy the nature of Kawaguchi Dam Lake. In addition, the "Naka Town River System Ayu Tasting," which was well received last year, will be held again, allowing you to taste natural sweetfish (ayu) raised in the Naka River water system as a 4-fish set or individually. Salt-grilled wild ayu raised in the Minagawa, Furuyadanigawa, Jokedanigawa, and Kaikawadanigawa rivers will be sold in limited quantities, and specialty craft beer is also scheduled to be sold. A recommended pairing set of wild ayu and beer will also be offered. For tournament participants, the entry fee includes insurance, and a limited number of rental fishing gear sets are available for free. Hook and worm sets will be sold separately. All participants are required to wear a life jacket. Tournament rules are limited to lure fishing; participants bring their catch to the reception area, and victories are determined by the total weight of the fish.
