"Akamatsu Shrine Dedication Fukizutsu Fireworks" will be held to showcase traditional techniques illuminating the autumn night. Handmade "Akamatsu Fukizutsu Fireworks" crafted by the Akamatsu Fukizutsu Fireworks Preservation Society will be dedicated. Each cylindrical firework, meticulously handcrafted by preservation society members divided into 10 district teams, competes in the beauty of the sparks bursting from the cylinders. A heroic scene unfolds as local youth association members run under the flames reaching up to 10 meters while chanting "Dekitan, Doshitan" to pray for a bountiful harvest and family safety in the coming year. Carpooling is recommended as the area surrounding Akamatsu Shrine will be very crowded on the day.
