About this event
As part of the 'Matsushige Puppet Theater Festival 2026' held in Matsushige Town, Tokushima Prefecture, performances including 'The Tale of Ryan and the Little Wolf' by Gekidan Hokkori will be held. At this festival, puppet theater troupes, tayu-beya (narrators' rooms), and puppet troupes from both inside and outside the town will perform to convey the charm of puppet theater. This performance will take place in the training room of the Matsushige Town Historical and Folklore Museum, with doors opening at 10:15 and the performance starting at 10:30. The running time is approximately 20 minutes, with a capacity of 30 people. Numbered tickets will be distributed from July 22 (Wednesday) at the Matsushige Town Historical and Folklore Museum counter on a first-come, first-served basis, limited in principle to 4 tickets per person.
