The Itano Town Disaster Prevention Festa, held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, mainly at Roadside Station Itano (Michi-no-Eki Itano), is an event aimed at raising disaster prevention awareness among residents by taking advantage of its role as a Disaster Prevention Roadside Station and the inherent appeal of a roadside station. Under the theme of Connection, the event provides participants with opportunities to know, acquire, learn, and experience disaster prevention firsthand while having fun. On the day, there will be working vehicle exhibitions, displays of drones, Starlink, and air tents in the Know section. In addition, the Acquire section offers water fire extinguisher trials, smoke experience, AED training, disaster message board practice, and satellite phone trials, while the Learn section features 171 emergency dial trials, AR games, and rainfall simulation experiences. Furthermore, the Experience section includes a children's cafeteria, toilet installation demonstrations, and telegraph trials, offering engaging activities where children can enjoy learning about disaster prevention.
