About this event
This is a workshop where participants can experience crafting and painting a Yusan-bako (traditional picnic bento box), a traditional cultural craft of Tokushima, under the guidance of a Tokushima Prefecture Master Craftsman ('Awa no Meiko'). While feeling the warmth of wood, participants can try making their own one-of-a-kind original Yusan-bako. It will be a valuable opportunity to understand the culture and express oneself in tangible form. Advance reservation is required, with a capacity of 16 participants per session. It will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, with morning and afternoon sessions.
