Kagawa Startup Festa 2026 is an event that brings together entrepreneurs, supporters, local companies, and prefecture residents to experience, learn about, and support startups. The 2026 concept is 'Fostering Startups and Kagawa's Industries through Bonds.' It aims to serve as a venue where new challenges and collaborations emerge through encounters and networking among startups, supporters, and local businesses. On the first day, Saturday, September 5, the final presentation judging and awards ceremony for the Kagawa Prefecture Business Challenge Competition 2026 will take place, featuring entrepreneurs who passed the document screening pitching their business plans for grants of up to 5 million yen. On the second day, Sunday, September 6, an exhibition area will showcase startup products, services, and technologies, alongside a keynote lecture titled 'The Future of Industry Envisioned by NVIDIA' by Hidenori Iwanaga, Head of the Partner Business Division at NVIDIA. In addition, talk sessions themed around supporters in the startup ecosystem, demonstrations and hands-on experiences by startups, and workshops for children are planned. Participation is free, but prior registration is required for some programs.
