As the August event of 'SAIJO BASE's DAY', 'First Aid Fair 2026' will be held at the complex facility 'SAIJO BASE' in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture. This event aims to deepen citizens' understanding and awareness of emergency medical services and promote awareness of firefighting operations in general. On the day, practical corners will be set up, including displays of ambulances and light emergency vehicles, chest compression experiences, and CPR experiences. In addition, there will be exhibitions of emergency-related artwork submitted by kindergarten children and citizens, a message board for firefighters and paramedics, and a photo spot (commemorative photo booth). There is also a program where participants in a stamp rally will receive Ehime Prefecture Doctor-Heli goods and other gifts. Furthermore, programs allowing visitors to enjoy the charms of music and space are prepared, such as the 'Starry Sky Concert - Along with the Saxophone -' by a saxophonist from Tanbara High School, and the planetarium 'Moon Viewing Guide'. Parking is fully equipped, and participation is free. It will be a valuable opportunity to create end-of-summer memories and learn about first aid in a fun way.
