Biratori Town's largest event in Hokkaido, the 'Food Festival: Biratori Wagyu Beef & Tomato Festival,' will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026 (Reiwa 8). At this festival, you can enjoy delicious local ingredients including Biratori Town's prized 'Biratori Wagyu Beef,' 'Biratori Black Pork,' and 'Biratori Tomatoes.' At the venue, meat delicacies such as BBQ, hamburger steaks, beef bowls, and diced steaks made with Biratori Wagyu and Biratori Black Pork will gather together. In addition, Biratori tomatoes and processed products like 'Nispa no Koibito Tomato Juice' will be on sale. Furthermore, a bargain market for Biratori vegetables will feature a wide variety of fresh local products, such as tomatoes, newly harvested rice, cucumbers, potatoes, pumpkins, milk, Yoghurppe, and Biratori Wagyu curry. Free milk will be given to the first 500 visitors. On the special stage, YOSAKOI Soran performances, a musical performance by the Biratori Junior High School Brass Band, Cheer Angels, singer-songwriter AYAMi, and EverZOneHIROKI (Sapporo Tourism Ambassador) will appear to liven up the venue. A grand raffle features luxurious prizes, including '100,000 yen worth of Biratori Wagyu Beef.' At the Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) counter, gift vouchers that can be used for shopping as local gift returns will be available, and you can also receive explanations regarding hometown tax donations. It is an event enjoyable for the whole family where you can fully savor the culinary appeal unique to Biratori Town.
