About this event
In Kamijima Town, traditional autumn festivals are held across various districts in the autumn. In the Habu district of the Yuge area, an autumn festival is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026. In this festival, local residents unite to carry portable shrines (mikoshi) and festival floats (danjiri), enlivening the community with the sounds of taiko drums. Generations from children to adults participate, making it a valuable opportunity to pass down local traditional culture. While unique festivals are held in each district, the autumn festival in the Yuge Habu district is an event where visitors can directly experience local vitality and unity.
