Held every year in late October in Kumakogen Town, Ehime Prefecture, 'The 29th Kumakogen Marathon' is a marathon event where runners race through beautiful nature. In 2026, it is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 25, featuring categories including a half marathon, 10km road race, 3km road race (junior high school students), and 1.5km road race (elementary school students). The venue is in front of the Kumakogen Town Hall, with participation fees set at 6,000 yen for general participants, 2,000 yen for high school students, and 1,000 yen for elementary and junior high school students. The entry period runs from August 1 to September 7, 2026. This event will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy running at your own pace under the refreshing autumn sky.
