This is a special tour guiding visitors to a mystical time called "Emerald Time," which can only be seen for just a few minutes a day at Sadamisaki Lighthouse. Experience this magical moment when the lighthouse light glows green for only a few minutes after lighting up post-sunset—a precious opportunity that even many locals are said never to have witnessed. Sadamisaki Peninsula Museum Director Takashima guides visitors inside Sadamisaki Lighthouse and explains the history and mechanisms of the lighthouse. Even after Emerald Time ends, guests can spend a special time not normally experienced atop the lighthouse, listening to the rotation sound of the lighting apparatus and seeing the light reflected on the glass panels. The tour includes a special bagel snack from CAFE CYANTI, a popular cafe located inside the Sadamisaki Peninsula Museum. The guide's commentary on the route to the lighthouse, ruins related to the Hoyo Fortress, flora and fauna is also intriguing, making it an irresistible, precious experience for lighthouse enthusiasts. Please participate in comfortable clothing (such as athletic shoes) on the day and take insect repellent precautions. It takes about 45 minutes on foot from the lighthouse parking area to the lighthouse, and because the return trip after sunset involves walking along an unlit walking trail, bringing a headlamp or flashlight is required.
